南京明基医院风湿免疫科主任医师洪铁艳介绍，强直性脊柱炎是一种常见的风湿免疫性疾病，发病率约为千分之四。
“目前强直性脊柱炎无法治愈，但能通过治疗控制症状，提高生活质量。”洪铁艳强调，治疗目标是缓解疼痛、防止残疾，让患者正常工作生活，“就像高血压、糖尿病，控制好指标即可。”
